Alta Norra is a mixed-use development located in Shoreline, Washington, designed to support the area's growing urban corridor while providing active ground level uses. The project includes double height retail, lobby, and resident amenity spaces at the street level to create transparency and engagement along the sidewalk. Residential units above are organized around a landscaped second floor courtyard that offers shared outdoor space and daylight to interior units, along with a landscaped roof deck at the corner of the building that provides additional gathering space and surrounding views. The facade combines a masonry base with fiber cement panels and horizontal siding above, using balconies and color blocked volumes to articulate the massing and establish a cohesive identity along the street.
